Interviews’ Insight

I believe in the importance of understanding both the beginning and progression of a journey. People often have a lot of experience to share, and diving into their thought processes helps us find common ground with successful business owners and identify certain risks they may have taken. Mr. John Asogonnde, for instance, decided to venture into a non-existent market in Africa which many may have seen to be a very risky decision.

Also, despite the odds and negative feedback, Kwaku stayed on his journey. He listened to the feedback and used it to improve his idea instead of giving up on it. Both men, though on different stages of the business ladder with Kwaku now starting his business venture and John having already made impressive achievements, had a vision. They knew the need they wanted to meet and were passionate about it because they saw themselves as potential customers.

Often the business idea that might be a breakthrough is a need you are meeting for a target audience like you. Fear and insecurities often deter us from pursuing our passions, but once we overcome them and address pressing needs, these concerns lose their significance. Mr. Asogonnde’s advice to pursue a passion that consumes us to the point of losing sleep resonates deeply.  On that note, I would like to throw a question to you that a friend once asked me, “If there was no tomorrow and there was only today, what would you do today?”.

  1. I honestly love the light I’m getting from this website, because usually you would assume the youth are the ones just doing social media and stuff, but just look at these brilliant minds! It also transpired to me that it’s not only about Starting, the finishing is way important. So okay you have the idea, but can you accept the corrections and the criticisms along the way till you accomplish all the dream, I bet even this website wasn’t built easily, the writer had to overcome some challenges to create this impressive piece!

  2. I really enjoyed this article. The analysis was spot-on and provided a lot of food for thought. It would be great to discuss this further. What did you all think?
